Once you have an EcoVadis rating, you can use it when applying for an HSBC Sustainability Improvement Loan (SIL).
The businesses who complete and receive an EcoVadis ESG rating may be eligible for HSBC’s SIL, which directly links the cost of borrowing to ESG performance. If their score increases, the cost of borrowing decreases, and vice versa.
